BURR INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL

Burr students recognized Flag Day with a patriotic-filled ceremony by the intermediate school's flag pole at the conclusion of the school day on Friday.

Forty veterans, many with direct ties to the school and community, joined the students in saluting Old Glory with songs and speeches.

The veterans helped raise a flag atop the school’s flag pole.
